7th annual Interns Day: an unprecedented success!

August 27, 2009 – Each year, Interns Day allows interns at the HMR Research Centre to present their work to all research team members.

Because the Centre places such importance on the training of future researchers, it is committed to providing its students with a dynamic and stimulating educational environment and supervision by experienced research directors.

Choosing from among this year’s 13 presentations—a new record!—the jury awarded two prizes of $200 each to:

  • Rania Gosselin-Papadopoulos, a medical student at Université de Montréal (Dr. Hallé’s research unit);
  • Adam-Nicolas Pelletier, a biology student at Université de Montréal (Dr. Lesage’s research unit).

The day was also an ideal opportunity for CRHMR researchers, students, professionals and research assistants to come together and discuss exciting and promising research subjects that could very well have a major impact on the health sector.

At the end of the day, the student committee hosted a barbeque, where a good time was had by all. A big thank you goes out to the research teams and the entire staff for their participation!

The CRHMR also warmly thanks this year’s jury members:
