Supporting Research
The Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Research Centre fulfills its mission thanks to donations from the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Foundation and other institutions: funding organizations, governments, foundations, private businesses, etc.
Supporting research can be done in many different ways:
- Research chairs, Funding for equipment purchases;
- Funding for research laboratory setup and technical support programs;
- Funding for a specific research project or for launching new research activities;
- Salary awards;
- Scholarships;
- Operating subsidies.
The funds are mainly allocated on recommendation from a committee of peers. The funding allows investigators and students of the CRHMR to continue their activities and to make the Centre a place of excellence, committed to improving people’s health.
