December 11, 2008 - Raphaël Rouget, a doctorate student in Dr. Elliot Drobetsky’s research team, received the first Publication Award of Excellence for his study entitled “A Sensitive Flow Cytometry-Based Nucleotide Excision Repair Assay Unexpectedly Reveals that Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase Signalling Does Not Regulate the Removal of UV-Induced DNA Damage in Human Cells.”

The Publication Award of Excellence, which was created this year, was given to the best published study submitted by a graduate student and first-time author of a study published between September 2007 and August 2008.

Chosen by a selection committee made up of CRHMR research investigators, Raphaël Rouget was awarded a $1000 prize from the Maisonneuve Rosemont Hospital Foundation.
