Interdisciplinary Ph.D. in cell biology-biophysics

Project description:
We are currently searching for a motivated individual to undertake an interdisciplinary project in cell biology and biophysics. The student would join the research team of Dr. Stephane Lefrancois from the department of medicine and Dr. Santiago Costantino from Biomedical Engineering and Ophthalmology.
The project will involve using protein patterning, laser technology, advanced microscopy and image analysis to study intracellular trafficking.
Qualifications: A background in biological sciences or physics/engineering is required as well as an excellent academic record.
Grant: the candidate will be paid according to the Centre’s salary range attributed to graduate students.
