We are studying the epigenetic regulation of gene expression during hematopoiesis.
More specifically, our studies focus on identifying factors and molecular mechanisms involved in epigenetic programming and regulation of gene expression. Genetically-modified mice, embryonic stem cells and human hematopoietic cells are used in our research.

Another aspect of our research consists of characterizing the factors that foster the development of leukemia. For these studies, we are examining how some of these factors influence regulatory pathways of cell proliferation, genomic stability and regulatory mechanisms of gene expression.
